Explorers is the three-year curriculum that culminates Team 3 preparing children to be useful to the Lord by applying the character qualities found in 2 Timothy 2:1-7. This scripture passage focuses on the character qualities vividly represented in a soldier, athlete, and farmer. The soldier illustrates loyalty, submission to authority, alertness, responsibility, availability, readiness, and single-mindedness. The athlete illustrates practice, teamwork, endurance, and skills. The farmer illustrates hard work, patience, effectiveness, reap-what-you-sow, and dependence on God. The Explorers manuals examine in-depth the soldier, athlete, and farmer illustrations to develop powerful disciples of Jesus Christ.
